    Windows 7 cannot cut and paste using windows 7

    Having at last set up Windows 7 I now wish to add external software. I download and install but if I wish then to cut abd paste passwords/codes etc, I cannot. It seems to cut but nothing happens on paste. I would be grateful for any assistance on this preferably to my email address...
