About this tag
The Fatal1ty Z270 motherboard, specifically the ASRock Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming K6 model, is discussed in the context of a Windows 7 installation issue where a wireless keyboard and mouse are not recognized during setup. The user confirms USB legacy support is enabled in BIOS and the peripherals work in the BIOS environment, but they fail to function once the Windows installation begins. This suggests a driver or compatibility problem specific to the Fatal1ty Z270 board when installing older operating systems. Troubleshooting steps may involve using PS/2 peripherals or integrating USB 3.0 drivers into the installation media.
I have a G19 and a mouse. And both of these wont work when i try to do a installation of Windows 7. It will get up to the first dialog screen but i cant go any further due to the devices not working. In the bios the USB legacy is enabled. and the mouse also works in the bios.
