    I was using Freenas for a while but it got really confusing and I was on the freenas forum but alot of people on there are super rude. So i switched to windows server 2012 r2. It's going better so far. Thanks everyone for the help with my server questions

    I attempt to migrate a local Windows 7 fresh installation instance to FreeNAS iscsi target. I use dd to copy the windows 7 disk image and make it available as iscsi target disk. I then use sanboot to start the iscsi target, the windows OS boot till the windows logo screen and finally blue screen...

    Windows 7 Windows 7 + wireless + network access

    Hey I have a Freenas server in the house, and accessing it from other devices is ok. However, when I try to access the share on my windows 7 machine, after a while it gets a blue screen without fail. I keep thinking it's a wireless thing but there is no reason why it should be a problem...
