Windows 7 Can't upgrade from Vista Ultimate to Win 7 Ultimate
I bought the full retail Win 7 Ultimate and trying to upgrade Windows Vista Ultimate to Win 7 Ultimate, both 32bit. I get to the Expanding Windows files to 21% and nothing. The program is still running and stuck at 21% but after waiting 3 hours I shut power off and Vista was reinstated. Why...- chas638

Windows 7 With Windows t upgrade activated can I remove the old Vista?
I have activated my Windows 7 which is on a separate disk drive from the old predecessor, Vista 64. Can I remove this older disk and repair the boot using the upgrade DVD? Do you need a full retail version to do that? Do I have to keep the Hard Drive that the old Vista was on forever ?(~~)...- peppy197
