    Windows 7 monitor only recognized as generic pnp

    After installing windows 7 on my laptop my secondary monitor doesn't come up at all. The laptop display works fine. I looked in device manager and it shows a generic pnp monitor. I've downloaded the latest drivers for my video card but so far nothing seems to work. I also loaded the software...
