About this tag
The 'group by' tag on WindowsForum.com covers user issues and questions about the Group By feature in Windows File Explorer and Save/Open dialogs. Users seek ways to disable or customize grouping, such as grouping by initials like in Windows XP. The tag also includes a tutorial on using Group By and Filter features in Windows 7. Topics span Windows 7, 8.1, and 10, focusing on troubleshooting and customization of file management.
