Installed NVME to desktop motherboard, I only had a small screw that fit well in the motherboard hole. Unfortunately it was about 2mm too small, and the NVME is bent slightly downward, instead of being flat, like normal. I have installed many NVMEs into many laptops, desktops, I know how to do...
I am trying to install Windows on a HP Microserver Gen8. It contains 4 rust drives in the main bays, and an SSD in the optical slot. The nature of the HP BIOS is such that the SSD needs to be created as an "array of one" before it can be used, but I've done that, and set it as the primary boot...
Hey fellow gamers,
I've been contemplating upgrading my gaming setup recently, and one of the big decisions I'm facing is whether to invest in a 1440p gaming monitor or stick with the tried-and-true 1080p resolution. I've done some research, but I'd love to hear from the community about their...

I have a 2 year old computer that is running Windows 10. I made a new partition to dual boot Windows 11 about a year ago, installed Win11, tried it for a few days, and removed it because it was extremely slow. I figured I would give it another try a few weeks ago. It would install, and put...

I'm presently running a 12700k/3080/32gb 3370 ddr4 ram/2tb NVMe ssd to an ultrawide monitor (3440x1440)
My issue is the temps while watching YT videos. When in 1440p or 4k, there is no or almost no temp change (Idle-30c; 1440p/4k-33c) but @1080p the 3080 ramps up to 70c!
Is this a common...

I want to create a robust system to support Windows XP and later.
I want to start some old projects like emulation and other old stuff, so I will probably use XP, 7, and 11 on three different partitions.
I want to use a Mini ITX, if possible, or a Micro ATX motherboard.
As a CPU and...

Windows Mixed Reality says my i5-13600k is not compatible. Fully updated Win 11 install. Mixed reality install won't proceed saying that a 13600k is not compatible yet it is the 6ths fastest processor on the market?

I was told once that my computer uses more energy to turn off and on than to just keep it on all the time.
What say you? Can I just leave it running for a long time or will this damage my pc? What are the risks, if any?
