About this tag
The hauppage tag on WindowsForum.com covers user experiences with Hauppage TV tuner hardware, particularly the HVR-900H USB stick and WinTV software, on Windows 7. Discussions include driver compatibility, application issues with WinTV 6.0, and workarounds using Windows Media Center. Users report that while the hardware is recognized, the supplied application may fail to tune channels on 64-bit Windows 7, though Windows Media Center can serve as an alternative. Some threads note successful operation on 32-bit builds and with specific Windows updates applied. The tag also touches on general Windows 7 beta testing, where Hauppage devices are mentioned alongside other hardware and software compatibility.
