hdd boot
About this tag
The hdd boot tag covers issues related to booting a computer from a hard disk drive, including scenarios where the system fails to boot from the HDD or USB. Common problems include missing or faulty drivers like NTFS.sys, locked BIOS preventing boot device changes, and boot loops after system freezes. Users seek solutions for dual-boot setups, password recovery without boot access, and troubleshooting startup failures. The tag is relevant for Windows 10 and Windows 7 systems, with discussions involving safe mode, antivirus scans, and hardware limitations.
