hide links

About this tag
The hide links tag covers discussions about suppressing or obscuring link addresses that appear when hovering over hyperlinks in web browsers, emails, or other applications. Users seek ways to prevent the long URL tooltip from blocking on-screen content, either by hiding it entirely or reducing its display duration. Common solutions involve browser settings, extensions, or system tweaks to disable link previews. This tag is relevant for Windows users who find intrusive link tooltips disruptive to their browsing or reading experience.

    Don't want to see link addresses . . . hide'm how?

Probably a simple question . . . . when viewing web sites, emails, etc. and as the mouse rolls over a "linkable site" - the web address flashes up on the screen (and it's LONG, REALLY LONG!!) and I can't see anything around it that I am supposed to click on! Is there a way to hide that address...
