    Windows 7 Windows 7 not playing start up sound?

    Recently, my computer has not been playing the startup sound, and on a side note. when I go to the welcome screen for longer than 10seconds it has this LOUD HIGH PITCHED NOISE that really annoys me. Will someone please help? :thumbs_up:
