About this tag
The HP Z4 G4 is a workstation-class computer, typically configured with Xeon processors and substantial RAM, as seen in discussions about using a Samsung 980 SSD NVMe M.2 drive for virtual machines. Users consider whether to run the drive externally via USB 3.1 or internally for better performance. Another common issue involves BitLocker encryption readiness, where the device shows a 'Not Ready' status and PCR7 configuration 'Binding Not Possible', indicating a potential BIOS or TPM configuration problem. These threads reflect real-world troubleshooting and upgrade scenarios for the HP Z4 G4.
