Running Win 8.1 (of course), I use Irfanview as my default graphics file viewer/editor. When I view a folder containing graphics files (large icon mode), the icon shown for each file is the Irfanview logo/icon. How do I make Windows show a preview of each file, instead?
Is there a way to enable in Windows 7, system Icons for Wireless and Wired network adapters, like the ones in XP (where you can see if connected (blinking lights), or disconnected (red X)? :razz:

In Windows Vista in the Pictures Folder, folder icons show 4 of the images from within the folder.
In Windows 7 there are only 2 shown and these are only partially visible.
How can I get back the Vista version of showing 4 of the images on the folder icon ?
