I have used Hiren's Boot CD a great deal, but now I am unable to. Whenever I click Enter on USB Flash Device in the menu, instead of opening up Hiren's Boot CD, it is giving me the message:
When I strike F1, it just repeats the same message ad infinitum.
I have Hiren's on a 4GB flash drive...

I have a 150 GB SATA and a 70 GB IDE hard drive in my computer. When I ran XP, everything was fine, but since Windows 7 was installed on my computer a few days ago, it doesn't recognize my IDE hard drive. The XP had been on the SATA drive, and the Windows 7 is there now as well because...

Hi guys
I've recently assembled a new PC and installed W7 on it, only to then find that some of my cherished software won't run on W7 whereas it did on my old pc running XP (which has now been dismantled and cannibalised). So I've decided to make my new machine a dual boot. Having looked at...

I recently bought a new PC (Intel Core2 Quad, 6GB ram, Sata with 300GB HDD) and installed a new (OEM) version of Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit)
Everything was running fine until I decided I'd physically add the old 'primary' drive from my old Pentium 3 as a secondary/backup. It's only 120GB so...

WE have implemented our 1st Win7 machine overall it's working pretty well. However we have 2 WD passport drives, the machine will discover and open the files on one but not the other. I also tried to access an ide drive through an adaptor and it would not recognise that either. This is a brand...

I have 2 SATA drives with the OS on 1 and data on the other. I have a spare IDE drive that I use for backup. What I would like to know is. Will the IDE drive now cause Windows 7 to run slow after the log-in screen? The reason I ask is that the time from login to usability has increased since...
