ie reset
About this tag
The ie reset tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about resetting Internet Explorer settings to resolve browser-related issues. In one thread, a user reports that after installing Windows 10 build 9879, shortcuts become generic, and attempts like icon rebuild, restoring default associations, clearing browser cache, and IE reset fail to fix the problem. The user then tries a system Refresh, which also fails. This tag is relevant for troubleshooting browser corruption, particularly in Windows 10 preview builds, where IE reset is a common step but may not always resolve deeper system issues.

So, I did a Refresh.
After an hour, it came back with these messages..................
