Internal reporting at Microsoft now includes a dedicated channel for anonymous tech ethics concerns. The Trusted Technology Review, announced in November 2025, expands the Integrity Portal to let employees confidentially flag ethical, legal, or human-rights issues related to technology development, deployment, or use. This internal reporting mechanism gives over 200,000 staff a designated pathway to raise concerns without fear of retaliation, covering topics such as AI ethics, data privacy, and responsible innovation.
