    Error creating a new folder from the desktop

    Hi, when I try to create a new folder from left-clicking a desktop space I get this message: Item not found. This is no longer located inC:\users\admin Verify its location and then try again can anyone tell me how to rectify this please?

    Windows 7 regedit fix not possible

    Every time I try to create, rename, or move a folder I get ITEM NOT FOUND. Tried registry edit suggested by Fazil M on July 13 but I cannot navigate to "Folder Descriptions" in the registry key--list stops at Explorer. There is no "folder descriptions."
