kb size
About this tag
Discussions tagged with 'kb size' on WindowsForum.com focus on the Windows Explorer size column displaying file sizes in kilobytes (KB) even for large files, such as those exceeding 2 GB. Users seek methods to change this default behavior in Windows 7 (64-bit Ultimate) to show sizes in more appropriate units like MB or GB. The tag covers troubleshooting steps and configuration adjustments for the Details view in File Explorer, addressing a specific display issue where the size column fails to scale units automatically.
I'm running windows 7 65 bit Ultimate.
When I open up a folder and go to "details" view the size is always displayed in kb, even if the file is like 2gb.
How Can I change this?
