killing process

About this tag
The 'killing process' tag on WindowsForum.com covers issues related to terminating processes in Windows, particularly when standard methods fail. Discussions include problems with 32-bit processes on 64-bit Windows 7 systems, where processes may hang during termination, possibly due to WOW64 subsystem issues. Users seek troubleshooting steps for unresponsive processes that cannot be ended through Task Manager or command-line tools. The tag focuses on practical solutions for process termination problems in Windows environments.

    Windows 7 Can't kill 32 bit process (Windows 7 64 bit)

I got this new laptop which has windows 7 64 bit in it. and i looked through the problems other people had and i think this problem is cause by WOW64 not running properly but i might be wrong i did not see any 64 bit processes to try killing it. The process hang on ending stage and just sit there.
