About this tag
Discussions tagged with lan security on WindowsForum.com cover the safety of keeping an incompatible Windows 10 system on a local network after Windows 10 support ends. Users explore risks of LAN-connected unsupported systems, including potential vulnerabilities when blocking internet access while remaining on a home or office network. Topics include registry hacks for CPU bypass, upgrading to Ubuntu, and the security implications of isolating an outdated OS on a LAN with a Windows 11 machine. The tag focuses on practical security concerns for legacy hardware in mixed-OS environments.
