launchy
About this tag
Launchy is a keyboard-based application launcher for Windows that allows users to quickly open programs, files, and folders by typing a few keystrokes. On WindowsForum.com, users discuss using Launchy to replace default Windows shortcuts, such as mapping Win+Space to Launchy instead of the built-in Windows 7 feature. Some users report compatibility issues with Launchy on early builds of Windows 7, like build 7068, where the application fails to work properly. Additionally, Launchy is mentioned in the context of troubleshooting mouse scrolling bugs in full-screen applications, where users suspect conflicts with multiple monitors or other software. These discussions highlight common user experiences with Launchy on Windows systems, including customization and troubleshooting.
Heres the problem: In SOME full-screen applications when scrolling, the mouse gets jammed into the lower right corner. It's able to be moved away, but if I'm using it to control my camera (FPS style.) I end up looking 90 to 180 degree's to my right. It makes a lot of this impossible like zooming...
How can I change original W7 shortcuts?
I use Launchy heavily, and I'm used to Win+Space shortcut, but now it's used for some useless W7 feature, which annoys me..
Thanks
I have 7068 on my machine and it's working fine, but i'm having difficulty getting launchy to work.
Is there some sort of fix, or does it simply not work on windows 7 at this point?
