    Windows 7 SLAPL E8400 Core 2 Duo in a LGA775 MB

    My processor died on my desktop LGA775 motherboard. I have a Intel SLAPL E8400 core 2 Duo processor from a old Laptop. Can anyone tell me if I can put it in the Desktop LGA775 motherboard and use it without damaging the processor? Thanks
