I just installed a Linux distro based on Ubuntu 9.04.
It is very user friendly. I don't like the Start Menu, but that's easily changed by choosing the Gnome Desktop.
I used a program called [URL=http://unetbootin.sourceforge.netUnbooten[/URL] to install on my flash drive.
