About this tag
The LSI MegaRAID tag covers issues with LSI MegaRAID SAS RAID controllers, including the 9260-8i model, in Windows Server environments. Common problems include the RAID card causing boot failures, drives showing as unconfigured, and RAID arrays not being visible in Windows Server 2019 after a card swap. Users also report difficulties accessing the MegaRAID management software due to mouse or keyboard issues, and persistent alarms from the controller. Troubleshooting steps involve checking driver updates, scanning for hardware changes, and considering OS upgrades to Windows Server 2022 or 2025. The tag focuses on hardware compatibility, driver management, and RAID configuration recovery.
