m.2 drive

About this tag
M.2 drives are a common topic in WindowsForum discussions, particularly regarding boot configuration, dual-boot setups, and performance. Users often troubleshoot issues like boot order conflicts when multiple drives are present, such as an M.2 NVMe drive alongside SATA SSDs or HDDs. Performance concerns, including slow random read/write speeds, are also raised, sometimes linked to BIOS settings or system clutter. The tag covers practical scenarios like installing a second Windows instance on a new M.2 drive for testing, managing multiple drives with different partition types, and ensuring correct installation paths in dual-boot environments. These threads reflect real-world challenges with M.2 drives in Windows systems.
