About this tag
Macrium Backup is a disk imaging and backup tool commonly used to create full system backups, including Windows installations and applications. In a Windows 10 context, users may rely on Macrium Backup to restore their system after a recovery operation that deletes apps and software, such as Microsoft Office. A common issue involves using a Macrium backup stored on a USB drive after the Macrium software itself has been removed during recovery. Users then need guidance on how to reinstall Macrium and point it to the existing backup file on the USB to restore their system and lost applications.

Windows 10 No restore point on Windows 10

Anyway, I pressed recovery instead. I was warned I would lose apps. What I didn't know was that I would lose Microsoft...- Chris G
