About this tag
Discussions tagged with 'main drive' on WindowsForum.com focus on issues where the primary storage device containing the Windows operating system becomes inaccessible or fails to appear during boot or installation. Users report scenarios such as a laptop not booting properly, with the main drive missing from diskpart listings, or a formatted main drive causing installation loops after a BSOD error. Troubleshooting often involves drive detection, partition visibility, and recovery steps to restore access to the main drive for Windows setup or repair.
