manitoba

The manitoba tag on WindowsForum.com collects discussion of how Manitoba's move to permanent daylight saving time affects Windows PCs and servers. The tagged coverage centers on Microsoft's interim guidance for the province's time zone change, including the Windows update that adds the new time zone, which Windows versions receive it, and a temporary workaround for devices that cannot be patched before the deadline. It also covers how administrators can check affected machines and what the guidance leaves unresolved. This is a narrow, region-specific topic aimed at IT staff and users who manage Windows devices operating on Manitoba time.
