Windows 8 100% bad groups of sectors
My wife has an HP laptop, model 14-1023cl if I can read the faded label correctly. If runs Windows 8 with one of the add-ons to make it look more like earlier versions. Maybe 8.1 instead? Windows 8 Recommendations for Free Antivirus and Firewall Solutions for Windows 8.1
I have Win 8.1 and don't like what I have been reading about Defender. Could I get a time tested opinion about a free a/v and firewall combo? I have MBAM with SpywareBlaster and Defender. if you think that is good enough please comment.- Peterr

Windows 8 Should I Keep SUPERAntiSpyware for Tracking Cookies and PUPs or Choose Quarantine Strategy?
I use Defender with Win 8.1 and MBAM. I also use Spyware Blaster am behind a router. Since I have added SUPERAntiSpyware I find a lot of pups and tracking cookies.
