About this tag
The mcp connectors tag covers emerging integrations that let Microsoft 365 Copilot work with specialized external data through the Model Context Protocol. Current coverage includes Blackbaud’s planned connection between Raiser’s Edge NXT and Copilot, intended to let authorized nonprofit staff retrieve live fundraising and constituent information without copying donor records into Microsoft 365. It also includes Daloopa’s connector for source-linked financial data across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, supporting finance workflows such as report drafting, model building, and identifying quarterly changes. Together, these posts focus on practical Copilot integrations, data access, auditability, and the use of MCP to connect business systems with Microsoft’s AI interface.
