About this tag
MJOLNIR Core is an open-source community modding project that restores classic competitive multiplayer to Halo: Campaign Evolved on Windows. When Microsoft and Halo Studios pitched the remake around its narrative campaign, new prequel missions, and four-player cross-platform co-op, arena multiplayer was left out of the official package. MJOLNIR Core fills that gap with a playable alpha that grafts all 19 classic Halo: Combat Evolved multiplayer maps and competitive play onto the PC version, supporting up to 16 players. Coverage of the project on WindowsForum centers on what the mod adds, how it runs on Windows, and how PC modders are extending a Microsoft-published remake.
