monitor adjustment

Hello! I'd like to ask you guys for help with setting up dual monitors. I used to be able to position the 2nd monitor of the extended desktop wherever i wanted. Now i moved to a different city, just set up the monitors, and i can't do it anymore. Desktops snap only to two positions entirely...
