motherboard audio
About this tag
Motherboard audio refers to the integrated sound hardware built into a computer's motherboard, as opposed to a dedicated sound card. On WindowsForum.com, discussions about motherboard audio often involve troubleshooting speaker configuration issues in Windows. For example, users may find that their system incorrectly reports support for 5.1 surround sound when the motherboard audio hardware only supports stereo (2.0) output. This can lead to problems such as missing audio channels or incorrect speaker setup options. Common solutions include updating audio drivers, checking the Realtek HD Audio Manager, or manually adjusting speaker settings in the Windows Sound control panel. Understanding your motherboard's audio capabilities is key to resolving such configuration problems.
Hi
Wierd problem this morning. With my Windows 7 64-bit. I notice dual channel audio isn't working.
This system is using motherboard audio (Link Removed). Which only has a single dual channel. So it should ONLY be able to support 2.0 channel audio.
