MS13-008 was a critical security update for Internet Explorer released by Microsoft on January 14, 2013, as part of Security Bulletin MS13-008. It addressed a publicly disclosed vulnerability in Internet Explorer 6 through 8 that could allow remote code execution if a user viewed a specially crafted webpage.
