MS15-077 is a Microsoft security bulletin from July 2015 addressing a vulnerability in the Windows ATM (Adobe Type Manager) Font Driver. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to elevate privileges if they log on to a target system and run a specially crafted application. Successful exploitation could enable arbitrary code execution, giving the attacker complete control over the affected system, including the ability to install programs, view or modify data, and create new accounts with full user rights. The update is rated Important and applies to supported versions of Microsoft Windows at the time of release.
