multiple copies
About this tag
Discussions tagged with 'multiple copies' on WindowsForum.com cover two main themes: managing multiple Windows licenses across different machines and troubleshooting printing issues where selecting multiple copies results in extra pages. Users ask about upgrading from Windows 10 Home to Pro using a separate license key, installing the same OEM Windows 7 product key on multiple partitions of a single computer, and resolving a Windows 7 printing problem where selecting more than one copy multiplies the output. The tag also appears in a thread about pre-ordering multiple copies of Windows 7. These topics involve license activation, product key usage, and printer driver or system settings.
Hi,
I have 2 copies of Windows 10, 1 Home, 1 Pro.
I have Home installed on one machine and the other is not yet installed.
I want to upgrade the Home to Pro and use the Home on another machine.
Can I use my pro license key to upgrade the Home (so that I don't have to reinstall everything)...
Here is the issue:
When I print anyting, adobe, excel, word, text doc, e-mail etc., and I select more than one copy it actually multiplies my copies. This seems to be happening to only me, the other two techs who have the same software as I do print just fine.
Now this is not just one printer...
I got a HP computer that had win7prox86 on it and i want to format it and install the same copy of windows onto different partitions, are there any restrictions with that?
