About this tag
The navigation bar in Windows is a key UI element that appears in File Explorer and other system interfaces, providing access to common controls like back, forward, and address bars. Users have reported issues such as the navigation bar disappearing in full-screen mode on secondary monitors, which Microsoft addressed in a knowledge base article. In Windows 11, the Classic Navigation Bar mod via Windhawk restores the traditional File Explorer navigation bar for users who prefer the classic layout over the default design. Other discussions cover missing UI elements like a blue ribbon at the top of the home page and removing toolbars from folder view in Windows 7, highlighting common customization and troubleshooting needs.

Windows 7 no blue ribbon at top of home page
sometimes, and I don't know what causes it, but I don't have the blue ribbon accros the top. I can get the back arrow and :X" by bumping the curser off the top of the screen , but that is a pain, can I fix that permanently? Jacksprat- jacksprat
