About this tag
The NDU (Network Diagnostic Usage) tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about Windows 10 memory consumption issues, particularly memory leaks. Users report high RAM usage at startup, sometimes reaching 70% on systems with 8GB of RAM. A common troubleshooting step involves modifying the NDU registry key, changing its start value to 4 to disable the service. However, users often find this adjustment ineffective. The tag also includes questions about downgrading to Windows 8.1 to resolve the issue and whether re-upgrading to Windows 10 is possible. These threads focus on practical solutions for managing Windows 10 memory leaks related to NDU.
