network range
About this tag
Discussions tagged with 'network range' on WindowsForum.com focus on Wi-Fi connectivity problems where a device fails to detect or connect to a home network, even though it can see other networks like a phone hotspot. Users troubleshoot issues such as Windows 10 not detecting a specific Wi-Fi network while Linux on the same hardware works fine, ruling out a network range problem. Common steps include updating network card drivers, disabling firewalls, manually entering Wi-Fi details, and restarting routers. The tag covers scenarios where the network range itself is not the cause, but other Windows-specific configuration or driver issues prevent connection.
Hi,
On newly installed Windows 10 I have problems with Wifi connection. OS doesn't detect my home WiFi. But it can detect WiFi shared from my phone. On the same PC I have Linux installed and it CAN detect and connect to the WiFi, so it's not network range issue.
Here's what I already tried to...
