About this tag
The network restore tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about restoring Windows system images stored on network locations. Users report difficulties when attempting to restore from network-based backup files created by Windows' built-in system image tool, which is accessible through the File History interface. Common issues include inability to locate or access the network backup during the restore process, despite Windows successfully creating the image on a network drive. The tag reflects user frustrations with Windows' network restore functionality and comparisons with third-party backup solutions like Acronis True Image.
