nic teaming

About this tag
NIC teaming, also known as load balancing and failover (LBFO), allows multiple network interfaces to be combined into a single logical link for increased throughput and redundancy. On Windows systems, NIC teaming can significantly improve network transfer speeds, as seen in scenarios where a server achieves 250 MB/s read/write performance. This technique is commonly used in enterprise environments to maximize bandwidth and ensure network reliability. For users experiencing slow file transfers, verifying that NIC teaming is properly configured can help achieve higher utilization of available network resources.
