no disk
About this tag
The 'no disk' tag on WindowsForum.com covers issues where an installation or system process reports that no disk is present in a drive, preventing the operation from completing. A common example involves Flash Player updates that fail with a 'no disk in drive' error, halting installation. Discussions focus on troubleshooting this error, including checking drive letters, removable media, and virtual drives that may cause the system to expect a disk. Users seek solutions to bypass or resolve the prompt so that software updates or other tasks can proceed without interruption.
Every time I try to update Flash Player the installation program starts correctly but than stops and says "no disk in drive" and the installation cannot continue.
Searched the net in vain for any good answer to this.
