onedrive for web

OneDrive for web is the browser-based side of Microsoft's cloud storage service, and this tag collects coverage of how that interface changes over time. The clearest example is Microsoft 365 roadmap entry 572683, which relocates the Create or upload button from the left navigation pane to the right side of the page in October 2026. Microsoft's stated goal is consistency, so OneDrive adopts a layout SharePoint document library users already recognize. The functionality itself is unchanged: creating files and folders and uploading content work the same way, only the button's position moves.
