About this tag
The OS drive, typically the C: drive, is the primary drive where Windows is installed. Discussions on WindowsForum.com cover managing reserved storage on the OS drive to reclaim space, troubleshooting unexplained space consumption that may require a reboot to resolve, and best practices for installing games on the OS drive. Users also seek advice on converting data drives from primary to logical partitions without data loss, and strategies for maintaining hard drive clones of the OS drive for quick recovery after failure. These topics reflect common concerns about OS drive management, space optimization, and data integrity.
