os load

I decided earlier today to dual boot xp and windows 7 on my pc, and now it won't load either os and it will sometimes boot only 7 and not even give me an option on which os to boot. Please help me!!!! P.s. I have a 250gb hard drive and I partition it to have 35 gigs for windows 7.
