About this tag
The 'out of box' tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about restoring a Windows PC to its original factory state, often referred to as an Out of Box Experience (OOBE). Topics include official Microsoft updates like KB5005716, which provides OOBE updates for Windows 10 versions 2004 through 21H2. Users also share experiences with resetting devices, such as returning a Toshiba laptop to out-of-box condition after upgrading to a solid-state drive, including challenges with disk wiping and file transfer. The tag is relevant for troubleshooting system resets, recovery, and initial setup processes.

I just stated to get my Toshiba back to Out of the Box condition. Well, since I changed out my hard drive to a Solid State one, with just the first disk of three, it has taken me 3 hours and 40 minutes to get the Hard drive deleted 50%. So much for SS Drives being in a hurry.

Hello
I bought Office 2010 when i got my dell a year ago and it has no disc just an id #. if I install I use this #.
If I were to buy Win 8, could I use this # and have Office 2010 on my machine?
I don't think Office comes out of the box does it?
Thank you
Peter
