    Windows 7 Persistent Selection Outline After Deselecting Items in Windows Explorer

    I have this problem. When im in a folder and select a item then click on the white bit or elsewhere the item will deselect but i have this outline of the select thing still there. Screenshot: Where i circled is the problem. It's in everything including control panel. Just not desktop. Why?
