About this tag
The tag 'oversize icons' on WindowsForum.com covers user reports of display scaling issues triggered by Windows updates, particularly those affecting Nvidia graphics drivers. In one case, a Microsoft update intended to upgrade an Nvidia driver instead caused oversize icons and a black screen, forcing the user to restore a backup and disable automatic updates. The tag reflects troubleshooting scenarios where system updates disrupt normal icon sizing, often requiring manual driver rollback or display settings adjustment. It is relevant for users experiencing similar visual anomalies after Windows or driver updates.
