PacStar is a line of rugged, small-form-factor tactical edge servers from Curtiss-Wright, designed for military and field deployments. The PacStar 451, 452, 453, and 454 models have been validated for Microsoft Azure Local, enabling a fully supported Azure control plane in disconnected, denied, and bandwidth-limited environments. These modules form part of a validated PacStar Modular Data Center (MDC) that can run Azure Local at the tactical edge, supporting enterprise-grade virtual machines, containers, and selected Azure services for mission-critical workloads. This integration brings cloud capabilities to harsh, portable hardware for defense and tactical operations.
