pc quality
About this tag
Discussions on WindowsForum.com about PC quality often reference the Windows Experience Index (WEI), a tool Microsoft removed from Windows 8.1 and did not include in Windows 10. Users debate whether the removal was intended to obscure hardware quality differences, potentially benefiting retailers selling lower-quality PCs. The tag covers community speculation about Microsoft's motives and whether WEI might return in future Windows versions. Topics include hardware performance assessment, consumer transparency, and the impact of built-in benchmarking tools on purchasing decisions.
I can't help but believe that Microsoft took WEI (Windows Experience Index) out of Windows to appease to brick & mortar stores like 'BB' that couldn't fool their customers anymore when they tried to sell inferior quality PC's as though they were of better quality.
